This twist on pork roast is bursting with flavors and simple to make. Ingredients
  1. 1 (4 pound) boneless pork shoulder roast
  2. 1 teaspoon salt
  3. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  5. 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  6. 2 bay leaves
  7. 1/2 teaspoon crumbled dried oregano
  8. 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  9. 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions
  1. Mix together salt, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, coriander, and cinnamon in a bowl. Coat
  2. pork with the spice mixture. Place the bay leaves in the bottom of a slow cooker and place the
  3. pork on top. Pour the chicken broth armmd the sides of the pork, being careful not to rinse off
  4. the spice mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on Low until the pork shreds easily with a fork, about 10 hours. Tum the meat
  6. after it has cooked for 5 hours. When the pork is tender, remove from slow cooker, and shred
  7. with two forks. Use cooking liquid as needed to moisten the meat.
